The Beautiful People of Montreal #2- Metro Edition

Most people hate it, but I can honestly say that I love taking the metro. Whether it’s in Bangkok, Brooklyn or the blue line in Montreal, the feeling of the subway is universal. The people, the girls, the smells, the noise, the graffiti, the subway cars, the stations and everything in between- it’s truly a world of it’s own.

The subway has always been a special place to me. As a youth, I spent countless days in the upper stations and underground platforms vagabonding with my homies. Now, even though I can afford a vehicle, I still prefer using the metro to get around. Living the Mook Life has me living in my own world. Taking the subway is one of the only times I feel like I’m still in some ways a part of main stream society. That’s what I love about it. Everyone is equal in the metro.

Montreal is not NYC. You won’t catch a big celeb taking the subway on some every day shit. The only people out here using public transport are school kids, poor people (mainly white trash and immigrants), bums, and geezers. With this being said, the people watching in Montreal’s underground is phenomenal.

With the recent metro hype coming from the highly anticipated In&Out DVD release, I decided to drop this special edition of Beautiful People Of Montreal. Starting with the first flick let me take you on a subway ride across town. Let’s explore some of my favorite aspects of public transportation.

    so much truth in this post I can’t even begin to show adequate love.
    First off a big “fuck you” to the STM and people who don’t realize they’re holding up the entire God Damn metro because they didn’t move they foot out the way of the door.
    Second, much love to the Atwater bums. Get harassed by them on the daily no matter how much food they cop from you.
    Finally, careful with people watching. I nearly got shanked today cuz I was watching some dude and he thought I was giving him crooked looks.
