Beautiful People Of NYC Vol. 1

New York, New York: big city of mooks. Not only the Mecca of Hip Hop but also one of the world’s premiere people-watching hot spots. Unlike in Istanbul and Caracas, the people of New York City are on the forefront of the cosmopolitan elite that dictates trends all across the world. Having said this, even the bums have fresh …Read More

From Gun Hill To Coney Island- ACC NYC

Spring is in the air and so is the smell of a million perfumes that run alongside Halal vapors, subway drafts, rubber tires and cold steel. All City Chilleur – January Recap

The holiday season came and went but the celebrations are far from over. Time after time, we plow through the thick snow like a twelve-ton Caterpillar only to end up at another dead-end party, where the DJ might be subject to heavy heckling and/or will get impaled with numerous objects, depending on how much he or she …Read More

FDR-BQE-ACC-NYC

Aww shit. We back at the border, smelling like weed, rocking expired passports, secretly hoping that someone forgot a five-piece in their jean pocket “by accident”. You guessed it: we ’bout to hit the I-87 South for roughly seven hours until we reach our destination. We will stop at a miserable rest area where acne-ridden, over weight …Read More

New York City Box Trucks

At the time I didn’t know it but it would be my last day living in Pittsburgh. It was a hot summer day and my roommates were sitting around hung over in an Apartment we were squatting in. It was on the South Side, just off of Carson St. I had a bus ticket out …Read More

Above The City Vol. 2 – New York Tour

Views like these are why I decided to buy my first digital pocket camera. I’ve always been fascinated with rooftops because every city has them and most people fail to realize their full potential. It can take good luck, or some pretty elaborate schemes to get yourself on a roof up there but it’s always …Read More

All City Chilleur: Something In Flushing

I always enjoy taking the elevated tracks through the boroughs. With every rooftop grilled from end on both sides, Queens is one of the biggest outdoor museums in the world. Been to MoMA, Guggenheim, MET and a few other museums, and none of them are nearly as exiting. Hop off the 7 and we be …Read More

All City Chilleur: From Fulton To Northern Blvd

I know people that only come out of their hole when it’s time to go to the dentist or if they have one of them court dates you just can’t skip. I’m not one of these people. I finna explore, see something new and have me some fun. I finna take a long ass bus ride for 9 hours just to drink at a new park or walk down a busy strip in a neighborhood similar to mine back home. Time Square is impressive and the Statue of Liberty is nice and everything but I rather be posted at a corner where locals reign supreme and the true colors of New York are still somewhat evident.

Night Shots of New York City

When I moved to NYC 5 years ago I thought it would be a good idea to buy my first digital camera to shoot with. I wanted to bench some of the graffiti here and also liked going up on rooftops and taking photo’s of the city. It got addicting and I accidentally found out I liked night shots, here are some of the results.
