All City Chilleur – October Recap

Posted by Societys Disease on November 4, 2011 – 1:00 am

What can we say about October? The past month was another vivid chapter in this street bible we call Mook Life. We kicked it off with a once-in-a-lifetime concert and video shoot by our favorite mooks Les Anticipateurs, where cocaine fell from the sky like rain and Quebecois slang reached new heights. In between bites of smoked meat sandwiches and slurps of Pho soup, we hit power slides and bumrushed entrance covers to attend our favorite events. Whether it was the D-Shade’s album launch at the Belmont or the Peace Park documentary premiere in the Latin Quarter, from K103 to the late night OTH on 90.3FM, we were out there, supporting the fam and sneaking beers into clubs, as usual. Like every other October, Halloween weekend was a rowdy one, filled with more stunts and partying than ghouls or goblins. Through thick and thin, the ups and the downs, we always surfaced with a smile on our faces. Even in handcuffs. A big shout out to our boy Morgan, who left our fine city to pursue his Mook Life in the native Big Apple. We gon’ see you as soon as the pardons come through, homie. Last but not least, rest in peace to Jays… A year later, we still celebrate your life on the daily. Gone but never forgotten.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, here is the month-long speech of October.

I Miss High School

We will set this month off by throwing a monster celebration this Saturday with Action Bronson and the whole Mook Life fam. I mean, you already know what’s up and you got all the details right here, so there is no excuse for any of you mooks not to come out and party with us. It’s only 15$ and you might even catch us smoking weed outside. Not to mention the fact that the club will be closing at 4AM due to the time change and we will have gourmet sandwiches on the house. Yes, you heard us right. Not no bullshit baloney and Miracle Whip on Wonderbread jail shit either. We going all out with premium cut Hungarian salami and 24-month aged prosciutto in fresh baked bread, filled with your favorite toppings like smoked Gouda, homemade mayo, tomatoes and all that. Fuck getting pizza at 4 AM. We finna smash some baller sandwiches and once that’s done, we finna smash everything else. Come witness the mookness first hand. Big shout out to Tronr for them black-and-white darts from the Belmont shows. Big shout out to all the mooks supporting the movement. All the people on the grind who show us love and and give us access: much respect.
